The STIHL MS 661 C-M petrol chainsaw is a powerful, professional-grade machine built for the toughest forestry applications, widely regarded as one of the most popular commercial chainsaws in the world for felling, trimming, and heavy-duty timber work.

With an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 1.4 kg/kW, this big timber saw is designed to handle large, demanding jobs with ease. It’s powered by a 5.4 kW (7.3 hp) STIHL 2-MIX engine, delivering strong, fuel-efficient performance with reduced emissions.

Equipped with STIHL M-Tronic™ technology, the chainsaw automatically optimises engine performance in all conditions, while the single start position and stop button ensure quick, simple starting. The controlled-delivery oil pump provides consistent lubrication, even when using long or extra-long guide bars.

Built for durability, the HD2 air filter system with radial seal captures fine dust particles and, combined with the compensator, allows for up to 20% longer operation between filter cleanings. The anti-vibration system improves comfort during extended use, and tool-free fuel caps make refuelling fast and convenient.
